Xippas gallery in Geneva is pleased to present a solo exhibition by Vik Muniz, that brings together unique works produced this year from the Surfaces series. The Brazilian artist, who has extensively researched the classical works of Cubist masters such as Pablo Picasso, Albert Gleizes, Maria Blanchard, Georges Braque and Juan Gris, reveals here how aspects of memory, ambiguities of image representation and a rich interconnection between different means of expression form the basis of his production.
